Assembling a Pedal Board for Any Occasion

  • Bellingham Folk School 1208 Cornwall Avenue Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

Sunday, May 1st 4-5:30pm $15 | Jeremy Elliott

(no registration is required)

This workshop will give insight into how to:
• Choose quality effects that will enhance your tone and encourage creativity in your playing
• Arrange effects properly to preserve your original tone
• Define "true bypass," "direct input" and "effects loop," and how to use all
• Assemble a pedal board that is practical and expressive for all styles of music including: folk, country, rock, pop, world etc.

In addition to discussing these topics, there will be an opportunity to test all effects in a "hands-on" manner through my personal live set up (amplifier, guitar, pedal board). Please bring any effects you wish to test and come with plenty of questions!
