  • Bellingham Folk School 1208 Cornwall Avenue Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

Friday, November 25th 1-7pm $75* (early bird discount: $60 if you pay by November 15th) | Taught by Jenna Bean Veatch

This multi-disciplinary arts workshop is open to artists, wannabe artists, and everyone in between. Focusing primarily on writing and visual art, the workshop will draw on the work of such artists as Lynda Barry, Miranda July, Yoko Ono, and Julia Cameron. Whether you're looking to get unblocked, access the creative self you know is lurking somewhere inside of you, or simply gather some new creative tools and meet some rockin' people, this workshop is for you.

Jenna Bean Veatch is a multi- disciplinary performing artist who has been accused of creating “pure, unadulterated, heart-stopping whimsy.” She makes dance-theater shows, music, stop-action animated music videos, short stories, delightful objects, and community gatherings. Her work has been supported by Artist Trust, 4Culture, the Seattle Mayor's Office of Arts & Cultural affairs, Bellingham's Community Food Co-Op, and the Bossak/Heilbron Charitable Foundation. She is a candidate for an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts & Creative Inquiry from the California Institute of Integral Studies .
